Gov't Oks 7 Foreign Bids Worth Us$153 Mil.

The Investment Commission yesterday announced that it has approved seven overseas investment bids valued at about US$153 million.

Of the investment deals approved yesterday, four represent net inflows into Taiwan and total US$70 million, while three are investment outflows to China, tallied at US$83 million.

Notable companies participating in the latest round of investments in Taiwan include China's Spring Airlines, TCL Co., and Costco.
